MEET ROWAN-
Rowan began his journey as a stand-up comedian in Melbourne over 30 years ago, later joining the cast of Melbourne’s Dracula’s Theatre Restaurant in 1998/99. He transitioned to acting at
Beaumaris Theatre Co. in 2004, debuting in Remember Ronald
Ryan. Since then, he’s appeared in over 20 productions with
Lilydale Athenaeum, The Basin Theatre Company, and here at the 1812. Some of his favourite roles include The Woman in Black, The Return, Motortown, Almost, Maine, and Til Beth Do Us Part.
Rowan has also appeared on many Melbourne-produced TV
dramas and numerous TV commercials.

Noises Off marks Rob’s third consecutive role at the 1812 Theatre, following his recent performances in The Great Gatsby with 1812 and Coherence with Redfox3 Productions. His other notable
stage roles include Lonny in Rock of Ages with SLAMS, Travers Goff in Paper Stars with Salty Theatre, and Giuseppe Zangara in Assassins with PEP, which earned him a Lyrebird nomination for Best Supporting Actor. Beyond theatre, Rob performs regularly as
a vocalist with the Melbourne Lawyers Big Band and is currently
developing a cabaret show featuring his own original music,
blending his passion for both performance and songwriting.
